Just got an email saying I've been accepted to speak at HOPE. I just can't believe it. In about three months I'll be standing in front of hundreds of people, talking about the life and work of Alan Turing, father of the computer.
Ordered "Alan Turing: The Enigma" by Alan Hodges and "The Essential Turing" edited by B.J. Copeland. The Hodges book is generally thought of as being the definative biography of Turing. The other book consists mainly of Turings papers and letters.
